Best office coffee solutions in Dubai in 2026: six options compared

By Leo Stark, Founder of CoffeeGo · Last updated 9 September 2026 · 8 min read

Short answer: for a Dubai office of 15 people or more, the cheapest and least effort option in 2026 is a free-placement bean-to-cup machine — the supplier provides and services the machine and the office pays only for ingredients from about AED 1,000 a month. Smaller teams do better with a capsule machine; offices with visitors can host a self-service machine and earn rent instead. Below, six options are compared on cost, effort and fit.

*Indicative UAE ranges, September 2026, assuming ~1,300 cups a month. Option 5 and 6 figures are CoffeeGo's actual terms; others are market ranges.

1. Café runs and delivery apps

The default in many Dubai offices — and by far the most expensive. At AED 18–25 per cup, 30 people drinking two coffees a day spend AED 20,000–30,000 a month, plus 15–20 minutes per run. It works for a team of three; it does not scale.

2. Capsule machine (Nespresso-style)

Cheap to buy (AED 700–4,000), tiny footprint, no cleaning. The catch is the pod: AED 2.5–4 per cup, no fresh milk and a lot of waste. Good up to about 10 people. Full comparison: Nespresso vs bean-to-cup for a UAE office.

3. Buying a bean-to-cup machine

A commercial bean-to-cup machine costs AED 4,000–25,000+. Beans bring the coffee cost down to AED 1.5–2.5 per cup, but the office owns the cleaning, descaling, milk-system hygiene and repairs — a failed brew unit can cost AED 1,500–3,000 to fix. Sensible only if you already have a facilities team and want full control over the brand of beans.

4. Renting a bean-to-cup machine

Fixed rental of roughly AED 300–900 a month, usually with servicing included, plus ingredients. Flexible for short leases and events, but over a year the rental adds AED 3,600–10,800 that the free-placement model does not charge. Details in coffee machine rental in Dubai: prices and contracts.

5. Free placement — pay only for ingredients

The supplier installs a bean-to-cup machine at no cost, services it weekly and replaces it if it fails; the office commits to a monthly ingredient budget, in CoffeeGo's case from AED 1,000 (about 110–150 cups) or from AED 600 for very small teams. Staff drink for free. No plumbing is needed: the machines run on bottled water and a standard socket and take 1–2 m². This is the lowest total cost for offices of 15+ people and the option we recommend most often. How it works: free office coffee machine in Dubai.

6. Self-service machine with a card reader — the office earns

If the space has visitors — a building lobby, a coworking space, a clinic waiting room, a car showroom — the economics flip. A self-service machine with card and app payment is installed at zero cost, and the venue receives fixed rent of AED 150–500 a month or a share of revenue. CoffeeGo runs 53 such public points in the UAE alongside 63 office machines (September 2026), with an average ticket around AED 10.7. How to choose

Whichever option you pick, ask three questions before signing: is service and repair included, is there a lock-in period, and does the machine need plumbing. Our checklist: what office coffee machine service should cover. Coverage by area: DIFC.

Frequently asked questions

What is the cheapest way to provide coffee in a Dubai office?

For 15 or more people, a free-placement bean-to-cup machine: the supplier provides and services the machine and the office pays only for ingredients, from about AED 1,000 a month. Per cup that is roughly AED 3–4 all-in versus AED 18–25 at a café.

Is it better to rent or get a free office coffee machine in Dubai?

Free placement is cheaper if your ingredient volume is at least AED 600–1,000 a month; rental (AED 300–900 a month plus ingredients) suits short-term needs such as events or leases under six months.

Can an office get paid for having a coffee machine?

Yes, if the space has visitors. A self-service machine with a card reader is installed free and the venue receives fixed rent of AED 150–500 a month or a share of revenue.

Do office coffee machines need plumbing in the UAE?
