An office coffee subscription replaces the café runs, the capsule orders and the broken machine nobody owns with one monthly arrangement. In the UAE the phrase covers very different deals, though: some providers sell you a box of beans every month, others rent you a machine, others give you the machine for free and bill only what your team drinks. This guide explains how each type of office coffee subscription works in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, what the monthly fee actually covers, and what to check before you sign.
The four types of office coffee subscription
Before comparing prices, find out which kind of subscription a provider is actually offering. The monthly figure means something different in each case.
1. Beans-only subscription
A roaster delivers coffee beans on a fixed schedule. You already own the machine, and cleaning, descaling and repairs stay your job. It suits offices that bought a good machine and have someone who enjoys looking after it.
2. Capsule subscription
A capsule brand supplies a machine and a monthly quota of pods. It is easy to start and works for a handful of people, but the cost per cup is high and grows in a straight line with headcount, and the used capsules become your waste problem.
3. Machine rental bundle
You pay a fixed monthly fee for the machine, often with service included, and buy ingredients on top. In Dubai rental fees typically sit around AED 450–1,500 a month before a single cup is made. We break these contracts down in our coffee machine rental guide.
4. Free placement, ingredients only
The provider installs, maintains and refills a bean-to-cup machine at no charge. Your subscription is the monthly ingredient budget, and employees drink for free. This is the model CoffeeGo runs for offices.
| Type | You pay for | Who owns the machine | Service | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Beans only | Beans | You | You | Offices with their own machine |
| Capsules | Pods, sometimes the machine | Provider or you | Varies | Very small teams |
| Rental bundle | Machine fee + ingredients | Provider | Usually included | Short-term or event needs |
| Free placement | Ingredients only | Provider | Included | Permanent offices of 10+ people |
How an office coffee subscription works with CoffeeGo
The setup is short, and nothing needs to be built or plumbed in.
The CoffeeGo office subscription in four steps. Very small teams can start from AED 600 a month.
The machines are Jetinno JL24 and Necta Krea Touch bean-to-cup units that make 14 drinks each, from espresso and cappuccino to karak. The coffee comes from our own roastery in Dubai. Offices that want a café-style setup with their own barista can have a Rocket Espresso machine on the same terms, with an ingredient budget from AED 1,500 a month.

What does an office coffee subscription cost?
On the free-placement model the subscription equals what your team drinks. Three things move the number: headcount, the share of milk drinks, and the beans. A 10-person team usually sits near the bottom of the range, while 40 people drinking two cappuccinos a day will land well above AED 1,000. Our office coffee cost guide walks through a full example, and the small office guide covers teams under 15.
Karak is the cheap end of the menu: in an office it costs no more than AED 1.5 a cup. That helps if a large share of your team prefers tea to coffee.
Six questions to ask before you subscribe
- Is there a machine fee? If yes, it is a rental, whatever the brochure calls it.
- Are delivery and refills included, or billed per visit?
- Who pays for repairs and a replacement machine? Hard UAE water is tough on boilers, as our service guide explains.
- Is there a minimum term or an exit fee?
- Does it need plumbing? A machine running on bottled water can stand anywhere with a socket.
- Can the budget flex when the team grows or Ramadan changes drinking patterns?
Is an office coffee subscription worth it?
For a permanent office of ten people or more, usually yes, provided you choose a plan where you do not pay for the hardware. A beans-only plan makes sense only if you already own a machine you trust. Capsules work for a team of three to five. For everyone else, a subscription where the machine, installation and servicing are free and the monthly bill is just the ingredients is the simplest way to give staff good coffee.
